It's been more than a week since the war in the Middle East. The US and Israel continue to attack Iran, while Tehran is targeting the Gulf countries in response. Iran's President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that Iran will no longer attack any neighboring country, unless the attack on Iran is carried out from the soil of that country. Iran also attacked Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Jordan with missiles and drones on Sunday (8 March 2026).
The US and Israeli forces launched a resounding attack on the oil depot and energy infrastructure considered the lifeline of Iran on Saturday (7 March 2026) night. According to the report of Iran's official news agency IRNA, the Shahran oil depot located in South Tehran and the northwestern area was targeted. In a video that has gone viral on social media, huge balls of fire and black plumes of smoke can be clearly seen in the sky of Tehran.
US President Donald Trump has said that despite the ongoing war with Iran, he is not worried about rising fuel prices. Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump described the conflict as a short-term operation and dismissed concerns about its economic impact. "I'm not worried about oil prices right now. At the same time, Trump described the military operation as a long-overdue intervention.
