Drunk man creates ruckus in Jamnagar: Police register case of violation of prohibition; Treated at the hospital

A man was arrested by the City 'A' division police for creating a ruckus in Darbargarh Circle area of Jamnagar on Sunday evening. Police have registered a case of prohibition violation against him and are taking legal action. As his health deteriorated, the police took him to GG on humanitarian grounds. He was also treated at the hospital. According to the information received, a man was lying on a public road in a half-naked state in an inebriated state near Darbargarh Circle and was talking nonsense. Crowds of pedestrians and motorists gathered to witness the scene. City 'A' division police staff rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident and the man was brought to the police station. During interrogation, he revealed his name as Shahnawaz Salimbhai Khira (age 29, R/o Sumra, R/o Bainiwadi, near Lime Kiln). Police investigation revealed that he was under the influence of alcohol. In the meantime, as the accused's health deteriorated and he was suffering from frequent seizures, the police showed humanity and immediately shifted him to G.G. He was taken to the hospital for treatment. The police investigation also revealed that Shahnawaz Salimbhai Khira had a habit of drinking alcohol. Earlier also, it was found that offences of prohibition violations had been registered against him at the City 'A' division police station.
