Vadodara: A complaint has been lodged against the Vadodara police after 18 tolas of jewellery were stolen from the house of the Additional Commissioner of GST in Vadodara.
Kanupriya, wife of Arunkumar Sureshram , a native of UP, who lives in a rented house at Utopian Corner in New Alkapuri, told the police, "We have been living in this house on rent since November 2024 and have been keeping jewellery in the locker of the safe.
In the meantime, we had to go home for 20 days and since the bathroom was to be renovated here, my husband's driver was given the keys of the house to take care of.
