Last year too, the affected areas reached late. On July 31 last year, cloudbursts took place in Samej in Shimla, Bagipul in Kullu and a village in Mandi. About 51 people were killed in the floods. Even during that time Kangana did not visit the disaster victims for many days. "I spoke to mlAs and DCs of the flood-affected areas, they advised me not to travel to Himachal right now as there are red and orange alerts in many places," Kangana wrote in a post on social media.
