Khodaldham Dashabdi Mahotsav invitation Rath reaches Patan: Devotees welcome Mataji during the circumambulation of various roads of the city and perform mass aarti

The Dashabdi Mahotsav is being organised by Khodaldham Trust-Kagwad from January 19 to 21, 2027. One of the three invitation chariots to promote the festival had arrived in Patan. Mass aarti was performed to welcome Mataji by the devotees during the circumambulation on various roads of the city. The main purpose of this Rath Paryatra is to go from village to village and invite people to join in this historic festival. The chariot, specially prepared for the invitation of the Khodaldham Dashabdi Mahotsav, created a devotional atmosphere in the city of Patan. The chariot roamed through areas like Madarsa Chowk, Khetravasi Chowk, Loteshwar, Limdi Chowk, Jini Pol Chowk, Kanath Wado, Panagarwada Chowk and Balia Pada Chowk in Patan. At every place, the grand aarti of Mataji was performed by the devotees and at night, Raas was also organized at the Khodiyar temple of the society on Saibaba Road. This chariot of Mataji is equipped with modern facilities like sound system, through which the message of the festival is being conveyed to the people. In line with the contours of the three-day Dashabdi Mahotsav to be held at Kagwad, the program will commence with 1008 Kundi Mahayagya on 19th January 2027. On this day, the processions from all four directions will reach the Khodaldham temple, where they will be showered with flower showers and a cultural folk dance will be held in the afternoon. On the second day of the festival, on January 20, 2027, the Mahayagya will continue with the scriptural rituals in the morning and in the afternoon Maharas will be organized, in which brothers and sisters from different districts and talukas will join dressed in traditional attire. The last day of the Mahotsav will be held on 21st January 2027 after the completion of 1008 Kundi Mahayagya. On this day, Annakoot will be offered to Mataji and mass Maha Aarti and flag hoisting programs will be held. At the end of the programme, a grand religious gathering has been organized, in which the chairman of the trust, Naresh Patel, will address the society and announce the conclusion of the festival. At present, the villages where the chariot is plying are being welcomed by the people by tying rangolis and torans, which has created a lot of enthusiasm among the devotees.
