BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari's PA Chandranath Rath was shot dead in Kolkata on Wednesday night at around 11.30 pm. The incident took place in Madhyagram area of Kolkata. According to reports, Chandranath was riding in a white Scorpio when the bike-borne assailants stopped his vehicle and fired 4-5 rounds from close range. The bullet hit the chariot in the chest. The assailants then fled from the spot. Rath was rushed to a nearby nursing home where doctors declared him brought dead. TMC workers have been blamed for his murder. The bullets hit the chariot in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby nursing home where doctors declared him brought dead. The driver of the chariot and 2 others were injured in the attack. He is also undergoing treatment. After the incident, BJP workers blocked NH 12. An encounter with the attackers was demanded. TMC demands CBI probe into the matter The party released a statement late on Wednesday night on allegations that TMC workers were behind Rath's murder. It said...
