26/11 terror attack suspect Abdul Aziz dies after eating at a restaurant in Islamabad

Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorist Qari Saeed Abdul Aziz, who was involved in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, was killed in Islamabad. According to reports, he suddenly fell outside the Quba Mosque, after which he died. It is said that Aziz had lunch at a restaurant before reaching the mosque. After this, he suddenly collapsed while reaching for namaz. The cause of death is yet to be ascertained. Pakistani officials have also not officially confirmed the incident. Aziz was accused of plotting the November 26, 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. In the attack, 10 terrorists of the army targeted several hideouts in Mumbai. At least 166 people were killed and hundreds were injured. He was also accused of handling an army unit that looked after tasks related to communication between terrorists and financial support to the families of slain Army terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir. Aziz's death comes at a time when there have been reports of mysterious killings of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) operatives in Pakistan in the last few years. According to reports, 30 to 40 army operatives have been killed in separate incidents. However, there has been no official confirmation of any direct link between these incidents and Aziz's death. It is not yet clear whether Aziz died due to illness or any other cause. Official information from Pakistani authorities is awaited in this regard. On the night of November 26, 2008, 10 Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists attacked several places in Mumbai. CST, Taj Hotel, Oberoi-Trident and Nariman House were the main targets.
