Vadodara: The Crime Branch has arrested one more accused from Surat in connection with a Rs 1.97 crore loan fraud case involving a loan of Rs 1.97 crore by the Home Loan Department branch of the State Bank of India (SBI) at Ellora Park.
Files were prepared in the names of six borrowers to get home loans in the State Bank, in which documents including bogus letters, ID cards, pay slips, income tax returns were kept. The details were verified by men from the bank's authorised agency.
