Mahisagar LCB has solved the mystery of five burglaries that took place in Kothamba, Lunawada and Balasinor areas. Police have nabbed two accused with theft cases. Following the instructions of Mahisagar district police chief Safin Hassan, the Local Crime Branch (LCB) PI M.K. Khante carried out investigations to solve offences related to undisclosed property. For this, the help of private informants, human resources and technical sources was taken. During the investigation, ASI Vishwajit Singh and Constable Bharatbhai of LCB staff received a joint information. According to the information, two unidentified persons were roaming around in Balasinor GIDC area under suspicious circumstances to sell stolen jewellery. On the instructions of the PI, the LCB team swung into action immediately and nabbed both the suspects. Various gold and silver ornaments were recovered from the bags of the accused. On intensive interrogation, both the accused confessed that they had stolen the jewellery from different places in Mahisagar district. The accused confessed that they had stolen the cash from a locked house in Ghantaw village near Lunawada a year ago. Apart from this, gold and silver ornaments and cash were stolen from a locked house in Thana Savli village four months ago. Gold and silver ornaments were stolen from a locked house in Muslim area at Balasinor town, gold and silver ornaments from a locked house in Indiranagar area and a locked house in Rohitwas. The accused used to enter by cutting the doors of locked houses and breaking the locks of the safes and committing thefts. The LCB has seized the stolen gold and silver ornaments from the accused. Both the accused have been detained and further legal action is being taken. The arrested accused are: (1) Jaspal Singh Ishwarsinh Rathod (Sikligar), R/o S.T. Nagar, Balasinor, Balasinor, G. Mahisagar and (2) Balraj Singh alias Malinder alias Don Mohan Singh Sikh, presently. Haldharwas, T. Mehmedabad, G. Kheda, roots. Shikwada, Guru Nanak Nagar, Mahemdabad, G. Kheda.
