The weather across the country has once again started showing different colours. Many states in north and central India have started experiencing severe heat, while the impact of a western disturbance in the hilly areas has predicted rain and snowfall in the coming days. With the onset of March, temperatures have been rising above normal in the plains. The day temperature has crossed 35 degrees Celsius in most cities of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan. The highest maximum temperature of more than 38°C was reported at Barmer , Rajasthan. In Madhya Pradesh, the mercury crossed 33 degrees Celsius in more than 25 districts of the state on Tuesday. The maximum temperature was 35.9°C at the edge. In Chhattisgarh, the maximum temperature of 36.5°C was recorded at Rajnandgaon. On the other hand, the mood of the weather is going to change in Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand. The high-altitude areas including Shimla are likely to receive light rain and snowfall after two days. In Uttarakhand, the temperature is rising in the plain districts, including Dehradun, while from March 8, there will be rain and snowfall in 5 districts. A snowfall alert has been issued in high-altitude areas. Weather conditions for the next 2 days... March 6-7: Rain-snowfall likely at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.
