AICWA writes to PM Modi over pakistani actors' accounts being activated; Social media handles have been banned again.

Social media accounts of all Pakistani artists in India have been banned after the terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. But recently the accounts of some Pakistani artists have started reappearing. As a result, the All India Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which he has termed the issue as an immediate national concern and demanded a permanent nationwide ban. According to the Hindustan Times report, the officials associated with the matter clarified that the lifting of the temporary ban was a technical mistake. Due to this, the accounts of Pakistani artists were unblocked. However, once again the social media accounts of Pakistani artists are not visible in India. In a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the AICWA said, "The re-appearance of Pakistani artists, influencers and channels on Indian digital platforms is a gross insult to our martyrs and betrayal of the nation. Those who earn from Indian soil cannot fund terrorism against it. Terrorism and entertainment cannot go together. The All India Cine Workers Association demands an immediate and permanent ban on all kinds of Pakistani content, accounts and collaborations in India. Let us not forget that Pakistan has always been, is and will always be a terrorist country. This is the same country that plotted the 26/11 Mumbai attack, Pulwama suicide bombing, Uri base camp, Pahalgam, Pathankot and Kargil attacks. In addition, on the recommendation of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Indian government banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels. According to government sources, these channels were accused of spreading inflammatory, communal and misleading news against India, the Indian Army and security agencies. But two days ago, the ban on social media accounts of some Pakistani artists and cricketers was lifted. Apart from Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane, who was seen in the Bollywood film 'Sanam Teri Kasam', the accounts of actors like Saba Qamar, Yumna Zaidi, Danish Taimur, Ahad Raza Mir were also active.
