Excise Duty Petrol Waived | The war between the United States and Iran in West Asia has disrupted crude oil and gas supplies from the Strait of Hormuz, a global energy corridor. At a time when there is an energy crisis from Asia to Europe, India has taken a historic and major decision to strengthen its energy security. The Central Government has also completely abolished the Central Excise Duty on ethanol to promote blending of ethanol in petrol.
