Congress MP Rahul Gandhi told the leaders of the INDIA bloc that there is a lot of anger against the BJP among the people in the country. It is for this reason that the upcoming Lok Sabha elections are in favour of the Opposition. He, however, claimed that the biggest challenge is to ensure that the elections are held in a free and fair manner. Referring to the criticism levelled against the Congress by allies at the meeting, Rahul Gandhi cited the example of Lord Shiva's poisoning. He said the Congress and he himself would accept every criticism from allies with a smile. Rahul said there is often an atmosphere of disappointment in the meetings of opposition parties, but they should believe that it is easy to defeat the BJP if all parties are together. The INDIA block met on Monday. On Friday, Rahul shared a 9-minute video on social media. "The Congress has not lost the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The opposition had given a stiff challenge to the BJP in that election. "Before the 2024 elections, very few people believed that the BJP could be challenged, but the Opposition did well. Rahul urged the leaders to be confident of victory and move forward unitedly. He alleged that the BJP's influence over many institutions in the state has increased. He said the BJP has control over institutions like the law and order, bureaucracy, intelligence agencies and the Election Commission, due to which the opposition is not getting the same political conditions as before. Rahul claimed that he has closely watched the election process in states like Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and Maharashtra. Many opposition leaders are now beginning to believe that their election results have been affected. Advising the media not to give a chance, Rahul said the Congress was not responsible for some political incidents, such as leaving the bloc by allies. He asked the opposition leaders to refrain from internal strife and not to make statements that question the unity of the opposition. The BJP constantly tries to create the impression that the Opposition is scattered when the reality is different. He said it is not difficult to defeat the BJP if all parties stand together and do politics of opposition. Rahul cited NEET, CBSE, Bharat Jodo Yatra and other issues as examples of conflicts among the people. He said the opposition parties should think every day how to oppose the government on the issues of the people. What happened at the INDIA Block meeting on Monday, all parties unanimously demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This demand was made in connection with the controversies related to NEET and CBSE. Apart from this, it was also decided to write a letter to the Chief Justice of India on the issue of Special Intensive Revision (SIR) and alleged vote robbery.
