Riteish Deshmukh's 'Raja Sivaji': Salman Khan to play the role of Shivaji's trusted assistant, Sanju to be the 'villain' of the film
Riteish Deshmukh is directing the historical epic film 'Raja Shivaji'. It has been reported that the film will also star Salman Khan and Sanjay Dutt. Salman Khan will play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj's most trusted aide 'Jeeva Mahala' while Sanjay Dutt will play the role of 'Afzal Khan'. According to Navbharat Times, Salman Khan will start shooting for his upcoming film 'Raja Sivaji' from Friday, November 7. This sequence is set to be one of the most brilliant visual experiences in the film. Moreover, the role of the actor is considered important to the story. Riteish Deshmukh is playing the role of 'Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj' in the film. Salman Khan has previously worked with Riteish Deshmukh in Marathi films. He made his directorial debut with Riteish Deshmukh's 'Wade' and before that did a cameo (a small but important role) in his Marathi blockbuster film 'Laya Bhari'. A case has been registered against Salman Khan for his paan masala advertisement. BJP leader and Rajasthan High Court lawyer Inder Mohan Singh Honey has filed a case against the actor. The complaint alleges that Salman Khan has advertised the Pan Masala brand in a way that misleads the youth. The case will be heard on November 27. Complainant Inder Mohan Singh Honey told ANI, "Salman Khan is a role model for many. We have filed a complaint against him in the Kota Consumer Court. In other countries, celebrities or film stars don't even endorse soft drinks, but here they promote products like tobacco and pan masala."
