A grand program was held today at Bedi Marketing Yard in Rajkot. In which the statue of farmer leader and late Vitthalbhai Radadiya, popularly known as Chhote Sardar, was unveiled by Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani. The statue of Late Vitthalbhai Radadiya was unveiled. Along with this, a newly constructed auction shed at a cost of Rs 12 crore was also inaugurated for the convenience of farmers in the yard. Jayesh Radadiya, MLA of Jetpur and a leader of the cooperative sector was present on the occasion and remembered Vitthalbhai's lifelong contribution to the farmers and cooperative sector and thanked the chairman of the yard Jayesh Bogra and the board of directors. 'Talk of being thrown into politics is allowed, but winning the trust of farmers is a big thing'
In this program, Jayesh Radadiya lashed out at his opponents. He said in clear words, "In politics, there is talk of defeat from time to time, but winning the trust of the cooperative sector and farmers is a big thing. Whenever there is an election to get the farmers' certificates, I go to the field. We will come to the market yard to seek votes for the work we have done. Five years ago, some people came to contest the elections. Those who got only 80 votes out of 1400. Even a lunatic gets votes with 50-60 votes. I had said 5 years ago, have faith in our team. At the event, Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani also recalled the old things and said that 25 years ago, when he went to vote in Gujarat, he saw him beating the village thief. In broad daylight, farmers like Parvat Lakha Sorathia were shot dead. However, Jayesh Radadiya has come out to protect the farmers with masculinity. Development works worth Rs 60 crore in the yard in 5 years, farmers get facilities
Expressing satisfaction over the functioning of the marketing yard, Jayesh Radadiya said, "Five years ago, when I went to seek votes for the new panel of youth, the farmers made us victorious with 98% of the votes. Under the leadership of Chairman Jayesh Boghra, works worth Rs 60 crore have been done in the yard in the last five years. Separate auction sheds have been set up so that the goods of the farmers are not drenched in the rains. Today, the farmers feel that this yard belongs to them and they do not face any kind of problem here. Claim to run the cooperative structure in a non-political and honest manner
Regarding the elections in the cooperative sector, Radadiya said that whenever elections come, we will be 100% in the field. Be it Rajkot District Cooperative Bank, Rajkot Dairy or Marketing Yard, it has always been my endeavour that the cooperative structure should run in a non-political and honest manner. Recently, in the general meeting of Rajkot District Cooperative Bank, it was announced that the bank has made a profit of Rs. It has made a profit of more than Rs. 280 crore and has given returns to 200 crore farmers and societies at the end of the year. 0% loan for farmers and accident insurance of Rs 15 lakh
Responding to a question about the disruptors, Jayesh Radadiya added, "As the chairman of the bank, I have always worked keeping the farmers at the centre. Farmers are given loans at 0% interest and an accident insurance policy of Rs 15 lakh. We are not just talking, but we have tried to deliver results to the farmers. Even the smallest farmer with 5 bighas or 10 bighas of land has full faith in the Rajkot District Cooperative Bank and our cooperative structure.
