Three-day Premier League concludes in Rajpur: Prince Super King winner, Prateek beats Parakrami XI to win the trophy; Players felicitated

The three-day 'Rajpur Premier League' cricket tournament organized by the youth of the local Patidar community in Rajpur village of Patan taluka has concluded. In this competition, the team of Prince Super King won the winner's trophy by defeating Pratik Parakrami XI. A total of 8 teams of youth from the Patidar community living in Patan, Ahmedabad and Ankleshwar, including Rajpur village, participated in the tournament. The Cricket Premier League was organised with the aim of bringing together the youth of the Patidar community of Rajpur village and promoting sports activities. A total of 8 teams namely Prince Super King, Bhopa Bhadaka, Dhawal Dhurandhar, Dev Legends, AK Royals, Pratik Parakram, Bholo Bhayankar and Rinkesh Royal were played in the league matches. The final match of the tournament was held between Prince Super King and Prateek Parakrami XI. Batting first in the final match, Prateek Parakrami XI scored 92 runs in the stipulated 8 overs. In reply, Prince Super King's team scored 95 runs in just 6.1 overs to clinch the tournament winner's trophy. The award ceremony was held on the closing occasion of the tournament. The winning team was awarded a shining trophy and the runners-up team was awarded the runners-up trophy by the donors who contributed financially to the Premier League. In addition, the best performers throughout the tournament were honoured with mementos for Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Man of the Match. All the donors who contributed financially to the sports festival were also specially felicitated by the organizing committee. Villagers of Rajpur village, family members of the players as well as a large number of sports lovers from Patan and surrounding villages were present to watch the three-day cricket matches.
