In Vadodara, the road from Vishwamitri railway station to Suncity was closed for drainage work.

Vadodara Corporation: After the closure or diversion of the road in various four roads of the city due to the unplanned work of the Vadodara Corporation, the administration will have to use other alternative roads to keep it closed for vehicular traffic as per the requirement until the work of laying a new gravity line from Vishwamitri station to Suncity Circle is completed.

It is worth mentioning that the work of laying new modern rain drains and new drainage lines on the main intersections of different areas of the city was done day and night by the administration by closing the roads and providing alternative routes for traffic in the main four areas. While the work on these four major areas is yet to start, the contractor is to start laying a new drainage gravity line from Vishwamitri station to Sun City Circle in the city. The need to keep it closed for vehicular traffic has been felt. The alternatives and alternative routes will have to be used by pedestrians and all types of motorists for careful use. Due to the depth of drainage gravity, the entry to the restricted area should also be prohibited and a safe distance should be kept by the drainage professor of the municipality.
