Donald Trump wrote on the social media platform Truth Social that he was happy to report that the two countries had agreed to a three-day ceasefire.

Trump said that this is the time for Victory Day celebrations in Russia. At the same time, Ukraine has also been an important part of the Second World War, so this time is considered important for both countries. He said that all kinds of military activities will be stopped during this ceasefire. Along with this, there will also be an exchange of 1,000 prisoners between the two countries

Trump said in his post that he made this request himself and for this he thanked the President of Russia Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. He concluded his post by saying that efforts towards peace are advancing every day and the world is getting closer to the end of this war.
