The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) needs to be involved in the completion of the trade deal. It is reported that as of Monday evening, none of the Rajasthan or Chennai franchises have officially informed the IPL or BCCI officials about this trade.
According to the IPL rules, whenever a foreign player is traded, NOC (No Objection Certificate) is required. Since Sam Curran is an England player, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) could be made part of the process to trade him.
