'Sanskrit Gaurav Yatra' was organized in Valsad district for the protection and propagation of Sanskrit language. The yatra was flagged off from the collector's office in Valsad district under the chairmanship of Dharampur MLA Arvindbhai Patel. The yatra started by offering prayers with the chanting of mantras of the four Vedas. More than 1000 students from various schools of the district participated in the yatra. The students sang Sanskrit songs and hymns. The students travelled through the city with tableaux depicting Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samaveda and Atharvaveda in the yatra. Students of Muktanand Sanskrit Pathshala, Magod and Pardi Sanskrit Vidyalaya took special part and recited Sanskrit shlokas. In this way he spread awareness about Sanskrit language. The yatra was organized as part of the state-wide Sanskrit Week Festival-2025 jointly organized by the Education Department of the Government of Gujarat and the Gujarat State Sanskrit Board. The yatra left the collector's office and returned to the collector's office via circuit house, tower, stadium road, Kalyan Bagh circle and SP office.
