It is being told that 13 people have lost their lives in this blast so far and a large number of people have been injured. The blast took place at a red light near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station.
The cause of the blast is under investigation. Let us tell you that a few hours before this blast, a suspected 2900 kg of ammonium nitrate was found in Faridabad near Delhi, which is a main ingredient used in the preparation of explosives. Investigating officers said that a conspiracy was being hatched to carry out a large-scale attack in Delhi through this explosive.
