Lychak told why he resigned from the post?
Miroslav Lychak said, ' I have not been involved in any criminal or immoral activity in any of my actions, but I do not want Slovakian Prime Minister Fico to pay a political price for anything that has nothing to do with his policies or decisions," he said.

Prime Minister Robert Fico shared a video post on the social media platform Facebook on Saturday (January 31, 2026) saying that he has accepted the resignation of National Security Advisor Miroslav Lyachk. He described Lychak as a great source of experience in the field of diplomacy and foreign policy.
