South actor Ram Charan showcased his archery skills by archerying on a statue of Ravana during Dussehra on Thursday. His wife Upasana Konidela shared a video of the event on social media. Despite the rain, many people attended the event. The event also marked the launch of the Archery Premier League. In the video, Ram Charan is seen wielding a bow and arrow with ease. He then addressed the gathering and thanked them for coming to the event despite rain. The Archery Premier League is being held from 2nd to 12th October at Delhi's Yamuna Sports Complex. Archers from 12 countries are participating. Archery Association of India general secretary Virendra Sachdeva said the event is being led by the association's president and Union minister Arjun Munda. The league will provide an international platform to the players and give a new identity to archery in India. The Archery Premier League aims to popularise archery and bring greater focus on the sport. Ram Charan also spoke about tradition and importance of sports on the occasion. On the work front, Ram Charan was last seen in 'Game Changer', which was released in January 2025. Directed by Shankar, the film was a political action drama and did well at the box office. Ram Charan is currently shooting for the film 'Paddy'. The film is slated to release in cinemas worldwide on March 27, 2026. The film tells the story of a brave villager who unites his people through sports and the fight against the enemy. Ram Charan recently celebrated 18 years in the film industry.
