FIFA World Cup: Spain beat Belgium to reach the semifinals for the first time in the FIFA World Cup

FIFA World Cup 2026: Spain have secured their place in the semifinals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 by defeating Belgium in the quarterfinals. Spain won 2-1 in today's match, ending Belgium's journey. Throughout the match, Lamin Yamal created many chances, but he could not score. In this match, Belgium did something that no team could do in this World Cup.

 

The first goal for Spain was scored by Fabian Ruiz in the 30th minute. D'Almo hit the ball for goal, but the goalkeeper stopped it by diving but the ball went a little farther away by touching his hands. Fabian, who was playing in the middle, ran straight into the goalpost. Earlier, Lamin Yamal created many chances, hit the ball on the goalpost but could not score.
