A 14-year-old student of class 10 committed suicide by hanging herself in Uttaran area of Surat. As the student was not interested in studies, the parents gave the impression that she would not study after passing class 10 and it is possible that she took this step after she felt bad. The student had also written a suicide note before committing suicide. In which it was written, "I am taking this step of my own free will, no one is responsible for my death, please forgive my parents." However, the Uttaran police are investigating to find out the exact reason behind the suicide. The jeweller's daughter was studying in standard-10 Rameshbhai Kathiria, a native of Bhandaria village in Gariadhar taluka of Bhavnagar district and currently living in Shaligram Estate in Uttaran, works in a diamond factory. He supports his family, including his wife, two daughters and a son. His 14-year-old daughter Vrinda was studying in class 10 in branch-4 of the Ashadeep Group of School near her house. Vrinda had gone to school in the morning as per her routine and returned home in the afternoon. She tied a shawl to a fan and hanged herself In the evening, she went to the bedroom. There she climbed on the bed, tied a shawl to the fan and hanged herself and there was a rush among the family. Vrinda was taken down and taken to a private hospital in a car for treatment. She died after a short treatment there. She often talked about leaving school at home Vrinda was not very interested in studying. She often talked about leaving school at home. So her parents explained to her that if she did not want to study further after passing class-10, she would not do it. Her family members said that she felt bad about this.
