A tragic incident of family feud and mental-physical torture by in-laws has come to light in the Varachha area of Surat city. Seemaben had consumed poisonous medicine at her home last Sunday (February 1). As soon as the incident was reported, he was rushed to Venus Hospital and then to SIMS Hospital for immediate treatment, however, he died after a short treatment. For 25 years, the in-laws took this suicidal step after being tortured unbearably by the in-laws: Brother Paresh Tulsibhai Sutaria, brother of the deceased, alleged that Seemaben was constantly harassed by her in-laws for 25 years of marriage. Tired of domestic squabbles and unbearable harassment from in-laws, Seemaben has finally taken this suicidal step. One of the deceased's sons (24 years) is studying in Canada, while the other son (22 years) lives here. Her husband Sunilbhai works in Hirani's office.
