Cases of stray dog bites are on the rise in Mehsana city. At that time, the municipal corporation has started a survey of stray dogs in the city. The survey will likely be completed in a week. The dog will be sprayed with colour and recorded in the survey. He will then be apprehended and released back to the designated center after treatment, including surgery. According to an estimate, there are 10,000 dogs in the city. The survey will also cover the rural areas of Mehsana Municipal Corporation, sources said. Informed sources said that a veterinary doctor has been recruited. The space of the closed factory on the road to Shobhasan Road Heduwa Hanumant has been rented and the dogs caught from the city will be brought to this center and given the necessary vaccines and after observation, the dogs will be released back to the place from where the dogs were brought to the cage. At present, the agency's team is re-surveying in different areas. As the team moves around the area, a GPS map is being made and the dog is colored and recorded in the survey. The survey will be conducted in a week. After that, the dogs will be taken to the closed factory on Heduwa Hanumant Road and the work will be started.
