Vadodara: A 17-year-old boy was beaten up and thrown into a pit in Vadodara after collecting Rs 4,500 on loan. The Bapod police have registered a case and are investigating.
"Two days ago, my 17-year-old son left home saying that he was going to collect money from his friends. Then at ten thirty p.m., I came to know that my son had been beaten up and dumped on a newly constructed site behind a mall adjacent to L&T Circle. So, I rushed there. As my son was lying in the pit, I called the fire brigade and pulled my son out.
