Protest against power line in Kumbharia: Tableaux flooded the procession

The farmers' protest against the heavy power line being passed through the fields by a private company in Morbi district is becoming more intense day by day. Even on the festive days, the anger of the farmers is not going to calm down. During the celebration of Janmashtami festival in Kumbhariya village of Morbi taluka, the farmers registered their protest in a unique way and expressed their anger against the administration and the company. A grand procession of Lord Krishna was organized in Kumbhariya village of Morbi. In this procession, the farmers of the village protested against the issue of heavy power lines illegally passing through their land and fields. The farmers prepared special tableaux depicting the scenes of power lines in the procession and circulated them throughout the village. The farmers say that the line is being forcibly laid from their fields by a private company, causing huge damage to their agriculture and land. Even in the festive atmosphere, the farmers raised their voice against the injustice through the procession to save their livelihood. Following this unique protest, this issue of Kumbhariya village has become a topic of discussion in the entire taluka.
