Due to this, 3,86,000 cusecs of water is being released from the dam into the Narmada river in a phased manner. The direct impact of water harvesting is being seen in Bharuch city. The water level of the Narmada river near the city's historic Golden Bridge has risen to 17 feet. The warning level of narmada river is 22 feet. While the danger level is calculated at 24 feet. The situation is currently under control. However, caution is being adopted by the system. The administration has instructed people living in low-lying areas along the river bank to remain alert. Safety warnings have also been issued.
