Vadodara: The Panigate police have nabbed a man who stole from a locked house on Waghodia Road a month ago and seized jewellery and cash worth Rs 1.68 lakh.
Maganbhai Ranchhodbhai Rohit, a retired teacher living in Prithvi Society opposite Jai Ambe Garba Ground on Waghodia Road, had gone with his family to his sister's house at Om Residency in Kapurai at 8 pm on the 2nd of last month. During this time, the thief stole gold and silver ornaments and Rs 40,000 in cash from his house and stole a total of Rs 1.78 lakh.
