Mehsana News:   The tradition of Khasda war, which has been celebrated for years on the day of Dhuleti in Visnagar in Mehsana district, continues to this day. With the passage of time, khasda was replaced by vegetables. State government minister and Visnagar MLA Hrishikesh Patel arrived to participate in the festival. A tradition that has been going on for years was celebrated amidst a crowd of thousands in the Goonj Bazaar area of Visnagar.


On this day, people selflessly throw slippers at each other. There are two groups in this game, one party becoming the 'king' and the other party becoming the 'minister'. Both sides are showering shoes at each other. The belief behind this sport is that wearing shoes does not hurt anyone, but people celebrate it with joy as a blessing. On this occasion, vegetables were thrown at the people. Minister Hrishikesh Patel is also present. Participated in the Utsav.
