TRB (Traffic Brigade) personnel haven't been paid for two months: When will the system wake up to the financial struggles of employees who faithfully perform their duties?

TRB personnel, who diligently perform their duties day and night on the roads to maintain traffic management and ensure public safety, are themselves facing severe financial hardship today. According to available information, their salaries have been pending for the last two months, creating a serious financial crisis for them and their families.

Due to the non-payment of salaries on time, difficulties have arisen in meeting daily household expenses as well as other essential family needs. On one hand, these personnel work tirelessly in extreme heat, rain, and even during night hours to ensure public safety; on the other hand, the delay in receiving their rightful wages has become a matter of serious concern.

In this regard, a formal complaint was earlier submitted on 02/08/2026 via email to the Dahod Control Room and the Superintendent of Police (SP) office. As per available information, the application was received by Ms. Kailashben Bhavsinh Rathod (Badge No. 506), an employee of the Dahod Control Room. However, despite more than a week having passed, no satisfactory response or effective action has yet been taken, which has led to allegations of administrative negligence. In this matter, Mr. Mahendra Aylani, President of the Human Rights Federation, has raised his voice in support of the rights and justice of TRB personnel. He stated that it is unacceptable for on-duty personnel and their families to suffer financial distress while no proper action is taken even after their representation. He further clarified that the fight for justice will continue until the pending salaries are released.

Amid allegations of inaction by the administration, a fresh written representation was submitted on 10/08/2026 to the Superintendent of Police (SP), Dahod. The primary demand of TRB personnel remains clear—immediate payment of the two months’ pending salary and relief from the financial hardship faced by their families. Receiving salary on time is not a favor, but a rightful entitlement of every employee. It has also been warned that if the issue is not resolved soon, the matter will be escalated to higher authorities.

Those who stand on the roads day and night to protect the public deserve timely payment for their hard work—this is not just a demand, but a matter of justice and humanity.
