Vadodara Crime News: Two accused arrested with 3 kg 840 grams of ganja stock, both of them granted two-day remand, one absconding

Sayajiganj police have arrested two accused with illegal ganja consignment from Parshuram Bhatta in Vadodara. The police have seized 3 kg 840 grams of ganja worth Rs 38,000 and a total of Rs 1.25 lakh in cash. The ganja was brought from Odisha for sale in Vadodara. Asi of Sayajiganj police station. Deepak Kumar Jabbarsingh and Anarm Head Constable Mukeshkumar Kesarbhai stopped a suspicious auto-rickshaw near Subhashnagar Char Road during patrolling and checked it and there were two ismo in the rickshaw, one of which was found to be a suspected vegetable narcotic substance from a grey colour bag. The police completed the proceedings in the presence of an FSL officer. Sayajiganj police registered a case under sections 8(c), 20(b), 29 of the NDPS Act and produced the accused before the court. The court granted two-day remand of both the accused. Sayajiganj police have started further investigation in the matter. The arrested accused are absconding accused.
