Vadodara: 3 accused arrested for stealing from jewellers in Karjan Navabazar

A team of Vadodara Rural LCB from Madhya Pradesh has nabbed three people who were involved in the theft of silver jewellery from Navratna Jewellers in Karjan's Navabazar Saree Market area.

According to the information received, on the night of 13-9-26, the owner of the jewellers lodged a complaint that the roof of the shop named Navratna Jewellers was broken and the wooden planks and POPs installed inside the shop were broken and silver ornaments of different designs and idols of God weighing about 2 kg 500 grams worth about Rs 5,75,000 were stolen. The LCB was involved in the crime of burglary. Various police teams of staff were formed and all efforts were made to solve the mystery of the crime. Meanwhile, on the basis of human sources and technical sources, specific information was received that the aforementioned theft crime was carried out by a gang of Madhya Pradesh state. The gang is currently in Madhya Pradesh.

On the basis of the information, the LCB. The team left for Madhya Pradesh. The three accused have been identified as Pushpendra Uttam Dushwaha (resident of Madipura Mohalla, Indergarh MP), Suraj Charandas Shakya (resident of Matanpura Mohalla, Indergarh, MP) and Rahul Charandas Shakya (resident of Matanpura Mohalla, Indergarh, MP). Matanpura Mohalla, Indergarh MP) was apprehended and brought to Karjan police station. The police seized Rs 1,19,000 in cash, two mobile phones from the accused. They seized Rs 20,000 and a total value of Rs 1,39,000.
