A private CNG luxury bus caught fire near a water tank going from Sardar Estate to Khodiyar Nagar in Vadodara city in the early hours of the morning. According to reports, the luxury bus of Shah Travels was on its way to drop an employee at a company located in Ranoli area. Meanwhile, a fire broke out in the bus after the driver picked up two employees in the early hours of the morning. The driver and crew of the blaze fled the bus to save their lives. On being informed about the incident, a team of Panigate fire brigade immediately reached the spot and brought the fire under control. The bus was completely gutted before the fire team arrived. There were no casualties in the incident. Firefighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire with water cannons. People around came running
People from the surrounding area and police also rushed to the spot after being informed about the incident. Preliminary investigation revealed that the cause of the fire was a short circuit. The fire and police have started further investigation into the matter.
