Vadodara Congress : The Vadodara Congress has rebelled against the party by denying ticket to Harish Patel, a corporator of ward number one. He has now announced that he will file his nomination as an independent.
The Congress has not given tickets to the two male former corporators in ward number one. Of these, Jha Bharwad is believed to have been denied a ticket due to delimitation and caste-based differences. But on the other hand, the party has saved Jha Bharwad's wife by giving her a ticket from the OBC seat.
