A tragic road accident has come to light in Khodiyar Nagar area of Vadodara city. A major accident occurred when the driver of a crane coming at full speed hit the bike rider. Following this accident, a crowd of people gathered at the spot and there was panic in the area.
Woman dies riding on bike
According to the information received, the woman sitting on the back of the bike fell on the ground after the crane hit the bike and died tragically on the spot due to serious injuries. Following the incident, there was a lot of anger among the locals and the local police were immediately informed about the incident.
The crane was running on the contract of the municipality
Preliminary investigation revealed that the crane that caused the accident was running under the contract of the Vadodara Municipal Corporation. As soon as the accident was reported, a police convoy rushed to the spot. The police have seized the body and shifted it to the hospital for postmortem and registered a case against the crane driver and further legal action is underway.
