Indian Red Cross Society, Gir Somnath District Branch Blood Centre and Arogya Bhawan completed three years on October 2, 2026. Various health programs were organized in Veraval. District Collector J.N. Vaghela inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. The celebrations will last for fifteen days. Free medical check-ups, treatment and guidance were given for senior citizens for a week. Free blood tests of senior citizens were conducted and reports were also guided. The Department of Dental, Physiotherapy and Ayurveda provided services like dental care, guidance on musculoskeletal pain and free bronze therapy. On the first day, 28 senior citizens took advantage of this service. Committee members including Chairman Atulbhai Kanabar, Kiritbhai Unadkat were present. Dr. Under the guidance of Dr. Khevna Karavdia, the blood bank team made the program a success. On this occasion, Vice Chairman Kamleshbhai Fofundi on behalf of the Red Cross, Hon. Secretary Girishbhai Thakkar, Hon. Joint Secretary Anishbhai Rachha, Treasurer Sameerbhai Chandrani as well as Sevarambhai Mulchandani, Rajesh Patel, Girishbhai Vora, Sanjaybhai Davda, Vimalbhai Gajjar, Mukeshbhai Chag, Mahesh Shah and Dhavalbhai Sindhal were present and encouraged to make the program a success.
