Yuichiro Tamaki (56) is the co-founder of the right-wing Democratic Party for the People (DPP). He is a former officer of the Ministry of Finance. Tamaki is in favor of tax cuts, tax exemptions and increasing people's incomes. They are also in favour of strengthening the country's defence capabilities, imposing strict rules on foreign land acquisition and building new nuclear plants. At the same time, they recommend ending the Bank of Japan's monetary policy in a cautious manner.
