VADODARA: A couple was killed after a bike driver hit them from behind on the Mahisagar river bridge in Fazalpur. While the husband suffered minor injuries.
Nayanaben Mahendrabhai Mistry, a 62-year-old resident of Siddheshwar Happy Home on Harni Motnath Mahadev Mandir Road, was on her way to Vasad with her husband this morning. At 11am they were going over the bridge on the Fazalpur Mahisagar river. In the meantime, a car driver hit them from behind and they fell on the road. Nainaben suffered severe head injuries and died on the spot.
