A helicopter carrying 6 people crashed in the Marondera area of Zimbabwe on Wednesday. After the accident, it caught fire. The helicopter was carrying 4 passengers and 2 crew members. All 6 people died in the accident. Among the dead were 43-year-old well-known businessman Wicknell Chiwayo and his wife, Lucy Muteke. Chiwayo was believed to be close to President Emmerson Mnangagwa. Police and rescue teams have arrived at the scene and are trying to identify the bodies. The helicopter crashed in the Marondera area, about 70 kilometers east of the capital Harare. The police received information about the accident at around 5 pm on Wednesday. It is not yet clear what caused the accident. The police will investigate the matter.
