Station directors have been appointed at 12 railway stations, including Ahmedabad and Surat, to control the crowd. The platform is crowded during the festive season, vacations as well as Diwali. So that according to the capacity of the trains, the sale of tickets will be limited and necessary steps will be taken for crowd control. Also, the foot overbridge at the station will be widened, holding area will be created on the outer side. Cctv monitoring will be done and only passengers with confirmed tickets will be allowed to go to the platform. This work has to be done
