‘Beaten for talking and laughing during breaks’: 3 teachers booked for assault, confinement of students at madrassa in Gujarat

Police in Sabarkantha district have filed a case against three teachers. The teachers are from a Prantij madrassa. They are accused of assaulting students. The teachers also confined the students on campus. A student from Bihar reported the abuse. He said teachers used sticks and wires to beat students. The students were also not allowed to leave the madrassa.
