Consumers are buying silver only for omens due to high prices, which is a matter of concern for the market. Jitubhai Soni said that after seeing a rise in the price of gold in a few years, now 18 carat and 16 carat gold lightweight jewelry have started in circulation in the market. This year, consumers have bought more such jewelry so that the budget can be maintained. Prices have increased this year The price of 24-carat gold on Dhanteras last year was around Rs 1,33,860 per 10 grams, which has increased to around Rs 1,46,160 per 10 grams this year. That is, the price of gold has increased by about 9.19 per cent this year. Last year, the price of silver was around Rs 1,80,870 per kg, which has increased to around Rs 1,90,840 per kg this year.
