A cleric from Ajmer dargah has been arrested for allegedly officiating the marriage of a minor girl to a 27-year-old man and facilitating her conversion to Islam. The incident, which occurred last year, came to light when the girl's family filed a complaint. Police investigations revealed the cleric falsely recorded the girl's age as 21 in his register.
