'Crimes against humanity' complaints filed against Bangladesh ex-president

Complaints were filed against former Bangladesh President Mohammed Shahabuddin on Sunday. These allegations concern crimes against humanity during the 2024 uprising against the government. Shahabuddin resigned from his presidential post on Friday citing health complications. The home minister stated the allegations do not warrant consideration by the tribunal. However, the law minister confirmed Shahabuddin will face a corruption probe.
