'Unsuitable for service': 2 Gujarat IAS officers forced into retirement

The Gujarat government has taken disciplinary action leading to the compulsory retirement of two IAS officers. Kankipati Rajesh faces ongoing corruption and money-laundering investigations by CBI and ED since 2022. Gaurav Dahiya was suspended in 2019 over allegations of misconduct, including bigamy and cheating. Both officers were deemed unsuitable for service based on their reviewed records by the Department of Personnel and Training.
