Dr Reddy's Laboratories has received approval for Zytorvi, an immunotherapy targeting advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. This new indication allows treatment for adult patients with a combination of toripalimab, cisplatin, and paclitaxel. Approximately 80 percent of esophageal cancer cases in India are attributed to esophageal squamous cell carcinoma. The approval derives from positive results in the Phase 3 JUPITER-06 trial.
