The 21 nomination forms were filed pursuant to the 2026-30 election schedule of the Apex Body of 17 bodies affiliated to the Navi Mumbai Merchants Chamber. As many as 18 business members, who are owners and partners of reputed companies in the spice market, have been elected unopposed in this election after three business members withdrew their forms. The Chamber of about 1300 members is in touch with global trade and globally reputed companies are in touch with the commerce departments and ambassadors of India and abroad. The Minister of Commerce, Government of India, with the support of the State Government, the Hygienic Global Markets and the support of the corporate houses in India and abroad in the mega projects of the Multipurpose Center, is committed to give a new direction to the public interest and to realize Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of Ease of Doing Business and to promote business solidarity as a bridge between the national organizations and leading institutions of Maharashtra - Chambers and Federations. The elected traders at the Centre with the support of Modi and Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis in the state are committed to working to ensure justice for all families in the spice market. These members were elected unopposed.
